The standards behind every page on Interpersona.
Choosing studies
Explainers start from published research: journal articles and scholarly books, chosen for how much they are cited, taught or asked about, and for how well they answer a question readers actually bring.
Writing explainers
Each explainer names its study and its authors, describes what the study did and found in the study's own terms, and closes with a section on what the study cannot prove. Claims stay inside what the source supports, and statistics appear only where the source states them.
Plain language
Technical terms are explained where they first appear. Sentences are written for an interested reader, and every explainer is readable without background in psychology.
The archive
Archive pages reproduce bibliographic details, contents lists and papers for citation and study. Archive addresses are kept stable so existing citations keep working.
Corrections
Readers who spot an error, in an explainer or an archive record, are invited to report it through the contact page. Confirmed errors are corrected on the page.
Commercial content
Interpersona's guide pages are free to read. Any future directory of practitioners on this site will list real practitioners, verified against their professional registers, and will be labelled on the page.
